Customer Service Jobs at home??

I recently heard about a friend of a friend who works from home answering customer service calls about flights or rapid rewards. Is this a real position and what would it be called? I am currently applying for any position but, I could still homeschool my boys from and earn an income if I could get a postion like this.

Thanks for your interest in a Career as one of our Customer Service Representatives. Unfortunately, we do not offer remote working for this position. These roles are all located in one of our Call Centers in the following cities: Albuquerque, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and San Antonio.
