Is it true that flight attendants have to clean the plane between flights and is not considered paid time since the door is open? Other airlines hire cleaners and SWA lets the FA's clean to keep the aircraft turnaround time shorter (and cheaper with the FA's cleaning)

From what I've seen, Southwest flight attendants do clean the cabin between flights.
I've seen the same policy at other airlines and worked for an airline that required all traveling employees to help clean the cabin between flights. The process is far more efficient than having contract cleaners clean the plane.
