Hello there, I am a former employee. I was able to obtain my 2017 W2 form through the equifax for employers portal. However I have forgotten where to go to get my 2015 and 2016 W2 information. Will I still be able to access this online? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Have you thought about looking at your 2015 and 2016 tax return documentation?

That's what I am trying to obtain. I have lost my documentation from those tax years and the IRS is not being very helpful. I know we used to have a different portal for online W2 viewing but I can not remember what it is OR if I will even still have access to it.

The IRS is only permitted to contest a return for three years after a return is filed -- unless fraud is expected.
So your 2015 return was filed in 2016. The IRS would have had to contest your 2015 return within 3 years of the day you filed that return -- so some date in 2019.
Like wise your 2016 return could be contested no more than three years after it was filed - so some date in 2020.
The above assumes you filed your returns in the years they were due.

Can you not get your older W2s from the same site?
There are instructions here to follow, but this sounds like what you already may have done:

Hi Court2412. Good question! If you call Employee Services at (877) 792-4792, they'll be able to send your information to Payroll and request the older W2s.
