I’ve been trying for months to get hired on southwest, I’ve applied for customer service, material specialist, and ramp agent. Any time I see the opportunity to apply I do but I only make it to the interview. Is there someone who can tell me what I could do to better my chances with getting hired with this company ? I am dedicated to work with southwest, but I’m feeling defeated at this point. Currently applied for material specialist in Houston hobby airport.

I have applied to a bunch if positions too. Is the process stopping after the phone interview, or have you made it to the panel interview yet?

what helped me was going into the interview prepared. I used Glassdoor for interview questions that might be asked. write down the questions and the answers. and most importantly be yourself. u can't go in there with the answers to the questions if your personality doesn't match what the company is looking for. they are actually hiring for personality, they are going to train u how they want u to work. but they can't train u to have personality. good luck!

you have to think how you can help customers, go beyond the job scope in another job and applied to job you are applying for, think why you want to work with southwest, learn about programs that you can advance in company, what you can you do for southwest, when problems arise listen to customers and solve their problems etc. I have been hired by southwest and another airline found similar questions asked but some new ones that used in other positions
