Information Regarding Flight Attendant Opening


Hi everyone! We've had an uptick in questions over the past few days about our upcoming Flight Attendant posting, and our hiring Team is thrilled to see so much enthusiastic interest. The posting will open on February 5th, 2018. In the meantime, here is some information that will be helpful to you in preparing to apply.



To Apply:

  • All candidates will need to apply through
  • All candidates will need to create a profile and upload a resume. To make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, candidates can do this at any time—even before the position itself is posted.
  • To create a profile and upload a resume, visit and then follow the steps below:
  1. Click the yellow “Apply Now” button.

  1. On the next page select “Connect with us.”

     To start the profile creation process, enter your email address and click Sign Up.

  1. The next tab is Interests. Feel free to select as many or as few as you like. It’s also ok not to check anything.

  1. Hit Continue to move on.

  1. On the Resume tab, upload your resume.

  1. On the Profile tab, confirm the information auto-populated from your resume is correct and create a Login and Review the information carefully before you hit Submit.

  1. Click “Submit Profile.”

  • If you get the message below you’ve successfully created a profile!

  • Once the position posts, click here  to be directed straight to the Flight Attendant Job Portal.



Things to note:


  • Candidates should keep their resume formatting basic and refrain from including photos or graphics, which can prevent the system from reading it.
  • If you have applied previously, you will need to reapply to be considered.
  • Candidates who have interviewed by phone or in person and have not been selected for this position will need to wait one year from their interview date to be eligible to apply.
  • Southwest Airlines will deliver any future communication regarding this position to the email address provided on a candidate’s profile. Some email providers may direct messages to spam or junk folders. Candidates should be sure to check these folders, and their privacy settings, to ensure messages from Southwest. We advise candidates to add to their address book or "safe senders" list.
