Hello, I applied for a position 3 weeks ago and just recieved a text from a local number asking me to call them to talk about open positions:
*Name*: I'm available to talk to you about Southwest Airline positions. Call me at (XXX) XXX-XXXX
(not disclosing my name or number they put for privacy reasons).
Is this legitimate or a scam? My online application still says "recieved submission" and I haven't gotten any further communication from Southwest yet.

I dunno, but what harm could you incur in making the call? It's not like clicking an e-mail link and getting malware.
If you call, and the person on the other side seems nefarious, just hang up.

Well use your "spidey sense" to detect a scammer.
On the other hand, you can do nothing and maybe miss out on a potential job
The choice is yours.
