Southwest hiring process

Hello! I’m currently stationed in Chicago, IL. I used to work for southwest from 2016-18, my problem is I plan on loving to Dallas soon! If I applied online for any position out there , how likely is it that I’ll get called. I could literally leave once I received email.

I'm a Southwest customer so "thinking out loud" here with you.  Is there a way for you to get in touch with one of your former colleagues to inquire?  I haven't seen too much in these discussion forums mentioned about applying from a different city from where you want to work.
