Recently, we received an alert to the presence of a new website posing as a place to apply for jobs at Southwest Airlines, southwestairlinejobs.com. This fraudulent site is actively collecting personally identifiable information (PII) such as Social Security Numbers and scanned driver’s licenses. We are actively working to take this site down.

Note: The only place to apply for jobs with Southwest Airlines is at careers.southwestair.comThe Southwest Airlines Careers Team will never ask you to purchase equipment for work, request money as part of the training and employment process, or make a job offer without multiple interviews.

If you see a posting for a Southwest job, please check our official Careers site at careers.southwestair.com to confirm the posting is legitimate. The best way to stay informed on new openings is to join our Talent Community on the Careers site where we send notifications when new positions become available.

As a reminder, please stay vigilant while online. If you come across other websites which you believe may be fraudulent, you can report them to the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov. The Internet Crime Complaint Center, in association with the FBI, and is another place to file a report. If you’ve already provided PII to an unintended recipient, we suggest you reach out directly to identitytheft.gov
