Although I don't know how often the position opens up I do know you can create a profile on the Southwest Careers website and sign up for alerts so you can be notified when the job you want becomes available for applications. southwest won't accept applications until the job is posted to be fair to all. If you don't want to sign up for alerts I recommend checking the careers site often since new jobs are posted often and you don't want to miss that job opening.
