Hi. I'm not looking for job, but I'm a manager that needs to hire and I was fascinated by all what I read about how you recruit people. I'd like to get in touch with someone from your People Department for some hints. Sorry for the unconventional request. Thanks! giglioli@ilo.org

You may want to get in touch directly with Southwest via Twitter, their handle is in the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of forum pages. Most folks in the forums are customers.

If you do reach out to SWA, be more specific on what opportunities you are looking for. Those who come across as willing to take any position many times gain the perception of one who is always looking for the next opportunity. Hiring new employees is a financial investment for the company, and should not be taken lightly. If I was the recruiter, I would want to hire someone who has integrity and is genuine with set goals.
