Adding a passenger to my flight

I booked a round trip originally for just myself, I now want to take a family member along , how do I add her to make sure we get too sit together ? I know I can buy the round trip ticket but what about sitting together is that easy to do ?

There are no asigned seats.  Purchase your family member a ticket, then 24 hrs before your flight you will check in.  You will receive your boarding group letter and number . If a passenger is assigned position A16 and wants to board with a passenger assigned position A45, the passenger holding the A16 boarding pass should board with the A45 passenger.
