We will be traveling with our camp gear this fall for the first time. Tent and the whole she-bang. We have a propane camp stove that we would like to check as well and the website says it will be ok but is "subjected to limited release". What does this mean? Any suggestions on traveling with camp gear?

Was there a response on this, I am planning a trip and seems to be confusing language on propane type stoves " subject to limited release" .....
Are they allowed for carry on or checked baggage?

Hello!
It's pretty common for Customers to travel with camping gear. The limited release of liability form (photo below) is a form Customers sign that releases Southwest Airlines from responsibility if the item is damaged due to its fragile nature.
For additional info on traveling with a camp stove click here, and scroll about halfway down the page to "Camping Equipment."
