I
I purchased two tickets from MDW to CUN for Feb with points. There was also approximately $80/each in taxes. If I cancel these tickets is there a $150 fee per ticket to cancel and retain the points and get the $80 refunded? I didn't think so but someone just told me that when I called Southwest. Grrrrr

What? Southwest doesn't charge fees to cancel flights booked with points, or any flights for that matter. Your points should be refunded to your account balance, and I *believe* the money paid to taxes is given back to you in the form of reusable travel funds.

Solution
Points are returned to the account they came from. You can request taxes be refunded to the credit card used, if not they become Travel Funds.
