I have an upcoming trip to RI which has a 14 day quarantine upon arrival that I must cancel.
The tickets were purchased through use of my points. Do the points that I used get to be used in the future booking within the next year or are they lost?

Solution
Canceling a flight purchased with Rapid Rewards points will result in the points returning the Rapid Rewards account they came from. This typically happens immediately after the cancellation is completed. Any cash used to pay the taxes and fees can be refunded back to the credit card used to complete the purchase, just make sure that option is selected when canceling.
