Cancelled funds how to get them

I cancelled a flight and am trying to purchase another one.  How can I retrieve the funds from the cancelled one? Nothing seems to be working.  On hold with res for 41 minutes.

Make the new reservation online.

After selecting your flights find the "Do you want to apply travel funds?" section of the checkout screen. Put in the confirmation number and passenger name of the canceled reservation and apply. If the same passenger is named on the new flight, the credit will be applied.
