Change car reservation to add a day

I have made a car rental reservation in May for July 24 through July 30, but meant to have it start on July 23rd.  How can I get the day added to the reservation so that it starts a day earlier?  The only option I see is to cancel the reservation and create a new one, but that results in a significant increase to the total.

I would suggest you contact the car rental agency you are renting from to discuss changes to the reservation. Details should be found in your rental confirmation email.
