Credit Card Funds & Luv Voucher Expire date Funds Expire

I booked a flight with a combination of a $5.60 travel credit from a cancelled flight, a LUV voucher and my credit card.  Had to cancel the flight and now all funds expire the date of the earliest expiration.  This is absurd!!  The earliest expiration was the $5.60 credit.  Now I'm out $170 for other funds.

Yeah, that's the policy. Sucks to learn the hard way, but now you know. Here's the actual policy from southwest.com

"If you book with a combination of these payments, the travel fund adopts the expiration date of the fund that expires soonest."
