Dallas Love Field Airport

I was curious we are flying out to Vegas this Saturday, at 7 am.. would it be a good idea to be at the airport at 5 am? We have never flown so early in the morning so I was just wanting to make sure.

While I have never flown that early, Love field is a very quick airport. Do the curb side check in and security is very quick.

You'll need to set your own comfort level, and I can't say specifically for DAL at that hour. My best guess is that 1 to 1.5 hours early would be fine at that hour of the morning if you are checking bags.

At MDW if we show up exactly an hour before the flight, there is time to drop off the family at Curbside, curbside check the bags, wife and daughter head into the airport and I go park the car in economy garage, catch the shuttle back to the terminal, we both have PreCheck, and I'm usually walking up to the gate right at family boarding 25-30 minutes before departure.
