Domestic Covid test- Is it required or not as the rules change daily?

I am traveling to LA this Friday.  Does Southwest require a covid test for Domestic flights?  I saw a post from a month ago that it is not required.  I need to confirm again as the rules change.

No.

Only Hawaii has ever required testing for domestic travel. I'm not sure where this belief keeps coming from.

And the rules DO NOT change daily.

What themiddleseat said has been the rule forever

In the past some locations required either self quarantine or test results. And that is ancient history too - nothing like that has been around for at least 6 weeks and probably longer.

The rules don't change daily in regards to flying. They have been pretty concrete since the pandemic began last year. The only thing that may have potentially changed was wearing masks in the airport and on airplanes - the mandate was set to expire in September but it has been extended until January 2022.
