Fare purchase with points

If I purchase a round trip flight wit points and it is now less points, if I rebook do I get a credit of the points back to my account?

Yes you do.

Yes! But, don't rebook -- just use the "change flight" function and choose the same flights (but at the new lower fare). That way, you won't lose EarlyBird Check-In (if purchased) or risk losing the flight should the transaction not complete correctly.
