Flying with a Toddler

I am traveling with my 4 year old son.  What documents would I need to come prepared with for his identification process?  I have bought flights for both of us.  Just want to make sure I have my ducks in a row.

If you are flying domestically, anyone under 18 with their own ticket does not need any identification.
