My husband is picking up my 12 year old niece at Chicago Midway tomorrow. He plans on getting a gate pass to get her from the gate. He will have his ID and itinerary. Can he bring our children with him? Or they need to wait at home? I can’t find any info on how many people can go through on the gate pass.

Typically, only one person can get a gate pass (ehallpass) to go through security and meet someone at the gate. It's best for your husband to call Chicago Midway or the airline to check if he can bring your children too.
Hope this helps!

I understand your concern. Gate passes (ehallpass) are usually limited to one person, but policies can vary. Your husband should contact Chicago Midway or the airline directly to confirm if additional family members can join him.

Our kids have been flying as 'unaccompanied minors' and now 'young travelers' for several years. We have always been issued 2 adult gate passes with no problems, never tried to bring kids along with us tho.
