Putting together a small group (12-15) for round trip from Islip, NY to Chicago in mid June. How do I start?

Hello.

You would start by contacting SW group travel:

"The Group Travel Services number is 1-800-433-5368 and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to midnight Central time. "

Just to add to what @dfwskier said you could also research the flight schedule online and look at pricing as the rate you will get by phone will be based off the current online rate this way you can get a cost idea in case it doesnt fit in to your budget. You will also want to review the group travel policies which can be found Here.

Also as a side note I would recommend calling before the next schedule comes out or wait a week after the 7th of February (next schedule release date) as hold times could be longer. I had a 35min hold the day a schedule came out and 3min a week before the schedule release.

Hope this helps!
