So, I was under the impression that there really isn't any way to tell how full a WN flight is. However, my mother insists that her uncle showed her on his phone how to look up how many empty seats are available. Of course, she doesn't remember how to do it.
And, like I said, I was pretty sure that this wasn't an option. Is there some secret trick that I am unaware of?

While there isn't away that I am aware of to see how many open seats are available on a SW flight the one thing I figured out is you can do a flight search for 8 people and if there are 8 or more seats available it will show on the 8 person flight search. Keep in mind this won't take in to account those on standby and anyone who gets reaccommodated on day of travel if your doing this when choosing a flight in advance. You can search the 8 people reservation up until an hour before flight time though so you could get a slight idea of is it 100% full of 99% or less full.
Hope this helps
