Metal detectors - (the ones you use to find treasures)

Hi all!

Anyone have experience traveling with a metal detector? Is it easier to bring on plane or have or getting it checked for under the plane?

If it's within these measurements then it shouldn't be any problem.

If you are checking it make sure you pack it in a box, suitcase, or other sturdy protective case. You can't just check the actual metal detector.
