Minor Traveling with Grandparent

Good Morning! I recently booked a flight for my mother and my daughter (age 9). This is the first time our daughter will be traveling with a non parent and they don't have the same last name. Is there any paperwork we need to complete prior to their travel. They are on the same itinerary.

Solution

No ID or other paperwork is needed for minors flying within the United States.  You could write a letter that states you are allowing the travel just in case anyone questions it, but that would be highly unlikely.

Yep, exactly. The child may be asked, as well. But should be fine.
