Ok to fly after COVID positive?

Flyer2323

I'm scheduled to fly SWA next week. On the date of my flight, it'll be exactly 14 days after I tested positive for COVID. My symptoms are already gone, and my isolation time has ended. However, one of my children was just diagnosed with COVID yesterday (the child is not flying, only I am). Do I meet the requirements for flying with SWA? Thanks for any advice, as I want to be certain I abide by the guidelines.

Please stay home.  If you are around others that are positive and you have not yet tested negative you should stay home.

Thanks, I went ahead & canceled right after I posted. Better to be safe, for sure.

They are rare, but there are some places that will give a rapid test.  But since you have already delayed your flight, THANK YOU.

Meanwhile, the CDC quarantine guidelines have dropped to 10 days.

So there's that.

Correct. Lots of detailed info available here:

That said, with what we currently know about reinfection remaining largely undetermined, erring on the side of caution isn't necessarily a bad thing.
