As a frequent flyer and an A List Preferred customer, I would like to know why flight attendant are allowed to hand passengers a drink by the rim of the cup without plastic gloves. We drink from the rim of those cups. I have observed flight attendants handle luggage, touch the seats, etc. and while I hope that they have washed their hands prior to serving drinks, I cannot not confirm this. Yet when they pick up our empty cups and other items, they always wear plastic gloves. I think we deserve the same courtesy.

Hi @smalistprefer,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our Cabin Experience Service Procedures mandate that Flight Attendants refrain from touching the rim of the cups during service. Internally, we'll take action to remind Flight Attendants of these procedures. As always, your Safety is our top priority, and we take that responsibility seriously.
