Price increased while on sale & I missed out - will it go back down?

I need 4 one-way tix from Boston to Kansas City, and had been watching the prices for a while.  They dropped a bit during the current sale (not at the begining of the sale - part way through) to a barely acceptable price, and while hoping for a lower price - the tickets INCREASED by $72 a ticket DURING THE SALE.  Now they are way out of reach.  Any chance they will go back down to the lower rate between now and when I travel in 2 months?  Or better yet, by the end of the current sale in 4 days?

Best answer is "keep checking". If people who booked in the lower price "bucket" cancel then those lower fares may reappear. At this point my guess would be that you won't see the lower fare again, but no one can really say what will happen.

Also try buying one, two, and three tickets at a time insted of all four as the logic apparently charges the price for the last ticket to the whole group instead of pro-rating the remaining lower fare tickets with the next higher block.
