Looks like Southwest is discounting  Boeing's hoped for a return of the MAX during fourth quarter 2019.

Makes sense. So much has to happen before the planes are back in regular service, seems prudent to push now vs making people scramble to rebook later on.

Fyi, free changes appear to now be available for this latest window.

Ugh! At this rate it may be a full year since the grounding that the MAX finally comes back into service.

Pray tell, where did you get your PhD in Aeronautical Engineering?

The reality is that when the MAX returns to service it will be the most studied, evaluated, and tested plane in the sky -- and thus likely the safest plane flying.
