Travel Funds

I booked a trip back in September of 2020 for February 2021 and in January 2021 I canceled that flight due to covid (did feel safe traveling)

SW provided me with Travel Funds, but they expire in September 2021. Do I need to book a flight by then (not fly by then) or do I need to finish my travel by then?

You would need to book and travel by the expiration date.
