Southwest charged my credit card without my authorization instead of using my travel funds, which I was under the impression was being used when I booked and now they won't make it right and I do not understand why they are taking my money that I never gave to them.

Hello,
Travel funds are not automatically applied - you need to select that you want to use travel funds during the booking process and enter your name and confirmation number for the travel funds to be applied.
If you did not apply the travel funds, you would have had to enter your credit card information to pay and complete the checkout process.
If you booked less than 24 hours ago, you can cancel your flight, get a credit card refund, and book again using your travel funds.

If your booking was made less than 24 hours ago you can cancel for a full refund, then rebook using the travel funds.
Did you book online or was this via a phone rep?
In either case, how did Southwest get your credit card number?
