I had asked before but no one ever answered, how can I search for connections going THROUGH a specific city?
For example- I am in NY, wanna go to LA, but want to connect with my wife who's in or going ttrough Chicago?
It is hard and cumbersome to find all the possibilities - especially with muliples airports in NY and in the LA area and then search each one by hand!
Any ideas?

I searched for a one way flight LGA-LAX and in the search results it shows several flights a day route through MDW. If you want complete control over it just book separate reservations, LGA-MDW and MDW-LAX.

that was a simple example for illistrative purposes- try this one:
boss is in Miami area/multiple airports
I am in NY area/multiple airports
we need to see a client in Portland and we want to meet someplace for the connection and plan our meeting instead of traveling on seperate nonstops at different times and then havng another hotel night to get our ducks in a row.
under the current system we have to check each possible connection/change combinaation by hand- hunting and pecking.
what I'd like is to be able to have the system find all the routings that work.
is that more clear so you see what I'm after?
thanks
