Has anyone ever had an iRobot Roomba in their checked bag? Is it allowed for its lithium battery?

Thanks.

The FAA does not allow lithium batteries in checked luggage. So although you can put your Roomba in your checked bag, you would need to first remove the battery and carry it on the plane with you.
