@Hvorn08 how long did they say they have made attempts to reach you? Hours, days, weeks, etc.? If more than a week, I'm sure they have moved on and filled the position.

@Fathertime10285 again, this is a conversation you should have with your direct leader. I would not refer to a discussion board to find your answers.

@VB24 make sure you are looking in your email spam. I've heard that emails from SWA sometimes end up there.

@hawaiilife66 your best bet is to always double check the status of your application on the dashboard. Also, make sure you are checking your email spam folder too for any communication that may come along from SWA.

@Fathertime10285 that is a perfect question to ask your direct leader. I'm sure they will have some insight and able to point you in the right direction.

@Dperry1256 wow! You have not heard back and your dashboard is empty? Possibly you can email SWA at: swapeople@wnco.com and ask for help. You can also check out the FAQ section on SWA careers and see if you can find the answer to your question. https://careers.southwestair.com/faq

@aprillo83 As long as you did not apply to the same requisition number, you’re more than welcome to submit a new job bid according to SWA. I'm not sure why your status would change? Try emailing swapeople@wnco.com since you might have experienced a technical issue. Check out the FAQ area on SWA career site and maybe you will find your answer: https://careers.southwestair.com/faq

@Sylvia2410 Have you checked your spam folder to see if a email was sent there? According to other applicants, that happens often. I encourage you to take the time and check out your dashboard. For now, that's your only communication tool with SWA, and I would think an important one to an hopeful applicant.

@babybabs it's always fun to travel with family during the holidays. I found flights on SWA's site from Long Beach to Reno for just $81.00 per person. Have fun playing in the snow and making memories.

@Leboucher I also work at a large Company who receives hundreds of applications for one position. Unfortunately due to the volume of applicants, only the top candidates with all the qualifications, and also related experience get a response back with an interview date. All the other less qualified applicants are not contacted. Continue to look for opportunities that you are qualified for and apply! You will land your dream job eventually.

@gbadillo the good news is that you still might have an opportunity to interview since the status does not say "closed complete". I'm sure you can imagine the number of applicants SWA receives for one position. It does take time, but those who practice patience, go a long way. If you have any other questions, click on the link below to SWA's career FAQ page: https://careers.southwestair.com/faq Good luck to you!

How delayed was the flight that caused all this unnecessary confusion? An 15 minute delay can usually be made up in the air with no issues.

I hope that your diamond necklace is returned to you. I know how it feels to lose something very special. Don't assume the worst with SWA. The fact SWA took the time to search the plane should give you hope that if the necklace was "turned in", it should be returned to you soon.

I agree seeing preboarders take advantage of the system is frustrating, but there is no way to police the process without ending up in court.
