@rkn93495 unfortunately the hiring process is long. SWA receives hundreds of applicants, and it takes time to select the most perfect candidate. For you, this could be a life changing opportunity, for a Company, it’s an investment. I have never applied for SWA, but have been a recruiter at a large Company previously. The recruiters have a responsibility to fill positions with the best fit (education, experience, service skills, etc.). I know it’s hard to wait, but I suggest you practice patience and remain positive. Good luck to you, and report back to us with your progress.

@Lalivero sorry you didnt move along in the interview process...THIS time. Now you can look at the experience as an advantage for when you do apply again. Don't overthink how your first interview went. Just know that next time, you will be more prepared. Go research more about the postion and come up with answers that will stand out, and remember to always be genuine.

@Lalivero unfortunately, the one who is waiting to hear back suffers the most. This is very important to you, but also important to SWA. Hiring new employees is a huge financial commitment. The recruiters have to go through tons of applicants and that takes time. My suggestion to you is; remain positive, and focus on practicing patience. You will go nuts if you can’t stop thinking about your interview. If it doesn’t work out this time, just take this experience as an learning. The experience will make you stronger for the next interview. Good luck to you. I sincerely hope it works out.

@kjltraveler I totally get your frustration. I would be upset if I paid for a better boarding position and did not get what I expected. Just know that to my knowledge, most of those who do purchase EBCI do receive a better boarding position than they would have without.

@nathanm04 I’m not 100% certain, but I am thinking no. Check out this info I found: Is there a fee to apply to the Destination 225° pathways? There is no cost to apply; however, candidates advancing through the selection process will be responsible for all costs incurred, including but not limited to: Obtaining a USA DOT/FAA First-Class Medical Certificate Completing an aptitude assessment Travel & accommodations to and from the testing center Costs associated with the testing and interview process (including travel accommodations) Once selected, participants will be responsible for all associated costs of the program. @jdtorres2005 what are your long term career goals? Are you looking to work for an “Airline” or a Company that thrives on creating a positive environment? I don’t work for SWA, but I enjoy flying with them and interacting with their friendly employees. To me, front line employees who proudly represent their Company goes a long way. I know that many potential employees let the paycheck decide their next employer , but I strongly believe when you are happy at work and enjoy the environment, everything else aligns.

@BMAN737 you need to be self confident and let SWA know that if they hired you, the right choice was made. Showcase your strengths and why you are perfect for this role. Have you invested time into learning what makes a Ramp Agent successful? What skills and strengths are needed? Search blogs, I’m sure you will find useful information. Good luck!
