Not trying to bully anyone, but I wouldn't consider any refund outside of the policy that I've established.  SWA and many other companies worked and tried to do what they could during a crazy time of our lives, but they, or anyone, could guarantee everyone was going to be satisfied.  Not just with airlines, but other issues and services as well I had to bite the bullet and move on.  No, I wasn't happy, but I've not tried to make others feel bad as like with SWA, there were policies in place that I didn't take the time to fully go over and it's my fault.   I hope this is just a minor blip in your life and you can move on and maybe I will see you on a future flight, if not, good, I have an empty middle seat.   ... This past January I cancelled a RR points flight and rescheduled it about 15 minutes later 2 weeks sooner. The refunded points showed up immediately in my balance. I didn't deplete my points in the repurchase process but the points were basically instantly back in my account. Being allowed to get off is usually up to the ops agent working the flight that would be boarding. If you arrive early on your 1st leg of your flight your chance of getting off is higher if your late your probably going to be told no because as soon as the last person is off the plane boarding begins and sometimes a plane will turn in 25min. You can always explain your situation to the FA when the 1st flight arrives and they can ask the ops agent    If you get off bring your ID with you as that will be required to get back on the plane  ... Just curious when you say the reservation shows up in your account are you able to click on the reservation and see all the details? I've had some reservations show up in my account but when I click to view them I'm told this reservation has been cancelled (ones I did truly cancel they just got stuck in my account for a day or 2)    You might try to open the reservation just in case because you don't want to end up without a ticket    As others have said the charge my post on Tuesday or Wednesday with the weekend  ... I had a similar experience the other day out of Hobby. Plane was nearly full though. The truth is that todays SW is not the SW of 2 years ago. Cynical, poor communication, poor planning, zero customer sympathy or service. So sad! I almost exclusively fly SW (companion pass) and regularly pay more or don't even search other airlines fairs. Why? Because SW does the right thing and doesn't waste peoples time. I guess Ill just go back to flying whoever is cheapest now.  Sorry for the experience. There are numerous YouTube videos on different methods for packing a suit in a suitcase.  My husband's suits have always arrived in pristine condition when packed accordingly.  I use a dry cleaner bag, tissue paper, and three of those shipping air bladders or doubled-up bubble wrap in the folds to avoid wrinkles. ...
