It will be very helpful if southwest finds a way to keep the information more organized for us in out account. 1. Example, if we have flights wether they were cancelled, re-scheduled or completed it should be in our travel history like other websites do, that way we dont have to go crazy finding confirmation numbers and so on. 2. it should keep not show your flight as completed when its not. I have had connecting fligths and when i pulled the app to see the next flight it was no longer avl becaused it was consider completed. I know normally you would have your ticket (paper) with you but i had lost it and I was not able to find it through my app or even online. 3. Also a lot of times I am unable to find my up coming flights..... which is very frustating.... now sure why things dont link well to your account. Overall I love Southwest! but the website and app do defenetely need some work to be as good and competitive as the others..

Thank you Lindsey, I hope that SW Air can resolve these issues, but as long as they use third parties that have customer service that you can barely undertand, I am not hopeful. I will use the SW site for air but not for anything else, sad, because I used to use them for everything. Thanks for your feed back! Have a wonderful day. Tony

This is awesome!!! I left a Nexus 7 on an American flight once and there wasn't an awesome community like this to help me in my moment of loss. Of course having awesome passengers like this is what makes flying WN something I love! Awesome story!

Hi @moemoeporter,
For the Californial promotion, as long as your flights meet all the requirements of the promotion, it doesn't matter if you booked them with a credit card or a LUV Voucher - it still counts!
Good luck!

Moderator, saving seats on an airline that doesn't reserve seats, is a chronic problem that is wantonly ignored by SWA, based on reading this forum and from my own experiences. "Any open and available seat" may be interpreted differently based on need. We all know the perspective of the "saver" who seeks preferential treatment that the airlines supports by not taking a stand but what about the rest of us that know how to follow the rules? Do you think we always get the best seats, whether it's in the front for quicker deplaning, or the exit row for added leg space? Do you think we always get to sit together as a family? NO! Do you want me and everyone else to play by our own rules or your rules? No policy is no answer. By not taking a position you are advocating vigilante justice and it will eventually result in violence, placing you in a liable position. If a seat doesn't contain a body, it's open and available, PERIOD. If they won't step out, I've been forced to step over them. What's next? Will they use force? Will I have to defend myself with equal force? Look, it's very simple. If a family wants to sit together, no exceptions, they have two choices. Either buy an early boarding priviledge for a few dollars more or they can fly on another airline that assigns guaranteed seats. Your part? 1) Post a policy on your website, pushing for the early boarding privilege; 2) Include a summation of the policy, i.e., NO SEATS MAY BE SAVED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, on the confirmation Email when the purchase is made; and 3) Include the statement via public address when you invite lines to form for boarding. You have to expect them to conform to principles for the good of everyone or be willing to cut them loose as a selfish customer who shouldn't belong to the SWA family. There's no half way about it. Your failure to act will lead to consequences for everyone involved, including yourself. It's merely a matter of time.

@lejgood, Even though the promotion is over, I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am for my small investment in PreCheck. It has made traveling (especially through DAL) a pleasure and a breeze for my wife and I, returning valuable hours of time spent in line waiting back to our lives. </soapbox>

Hi @mtr3swa,
Thanks for sharing your idea on the Community. It is unlikely that we'd be able to implement something like that because it involves completing a transaction independent of the Customer.
That said, we are committed to keeping Southwest.com user-friendly and intuitive so that the booking and purchasing process will always be easy and enjoyable.

Hi @rbay19,
Thanks for asking your question in the Southwest Airlines Community - welcome!
All of our planes are Boeing 737 aircraft, and the armrest is considered to be the definitive boundary between seats. The width between the armrests on our planes measures 17 inches.
We've got a great resource here for folks who want to learn about purchasing more than one seat for travel, so be sure to check it out. We can help you with the process, and make sure you get a refund for the extra seat when your travel is complete.

Hi @jojo1423,
Does the flight that you trying to book take place after the expiration date of your funds? If so, that's why the travel funds won't apply. All travel funds must be used (travel completed) prior to the expiration date.
Domestic vs international doesn't matter - funds can applied to any flight!

Hi @peachcrek,
A flight credit can only be used toward the purchase of another flight. It cannot be used for drinks or EarlyBird. Thanks for posing your question to the Southwest Airlines Community!

While I appreciated the offer of this when I did the math it seemed like it would be better to pay the fee than use my miles, but I'm sure for some that have an abundance of miles it would be worth while.

While this says "solved" part of your question seemed to involve why it didn't ask for your KTN, it just asked for your passport information. The reason is (for some reason) the system does not yet automatically add your KTN to an international flight, as it does for domestic flights. You have to call SW to have it added to each ticket. I just booked to Montego Bay a few weeks ago, and their was some type of little pop up that told what to do, when I was purchasing the tickets. Same thing when we went to Belize. I think the new system that is supposed to be up and running sometime soon will probably fix this.

Unfortunately, I missed hearing about this offer until a few days after it was closed! I feel like that is happening a lot, these days! I receive the Southwest Click 'N Save e-mails, but didn't see mention of this at all. I called the rewards desk this week and the representative helped me a lot with something else, and didn't know anything about this. Anyway, is there a way to find out about this if it is offered again??? Thanks so much for working so hard and helping us LUV southwest airlines.

Also- those credits are ONLY f=good for the same passenger, no one else. Finally, if you use a credit for any given flight and then change anything on that flight, the expiration of the ENTIRE credit from the changed flight expires RETROACTIVELY to the expiration date of the first credit. I have lost credits of sizable amounts by using a small credit from the prior year more than once- it's a BAD SYSTEM that should be adjusted!

Hi Im a little confused! You should have your own Rapid Rewards account and your company should have their own. The person flying the flight gets the points for flying that flight regardless of who pays for the ticket. Your company may purchase the ticket which they are entitled to all the points for that. When you fly the flight, those points are yours. I my opinion your company can't take your points. Good luck!

Hi @l405585j,
When this occurs, it's because there is a difference in the taxes on the ticket. Our fare system is set up such that it is not more or less expensive to book roundtrip vs one-way. However, the taxes (which are outside of our control) will vary based on the kind of ticket you purchase.

We don't have the dates for these flights readily available just yet, but I am working with our operational departments to see if I can find an answer. If we do, I'll come back and post an updated answer!

All Early bird does is checks you in 36 hours before the flight, 12 hours before the rest of the passengers who did not buy earlybird. If your flight is rebooked for that day then there is no reason to have earlybird. When checking in on SWA you are automatically assigned the next boarding position, so in your case the C position you received was the next available position. All though you are being inconvenienced, I'm sure southwest can't take a boarding position from someone who paid for that specific flight. In my experience, I have seen SW allow passengers who purchased early bird and there flight was canceled to board between A and B as a courtesy. If your flight is canceled I believe your earlybird is automatically refunded. Your husband should of boarded between A and B as an a list preferred member.
