I wish I knew as well, I found my link by googling “Chase Southwest Refer a Friend” and my link was given: Earn up to 60,000 points with the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card. I can be rewarded too, learn more. https://www.referyourchasecard.com/224a/1VRHCHU9UE I believe that if the link isn’t used upon initial application and approval the referral will not be validated.

You give these to deserving southwest team members who you feel have done a great job of making your experience better. Gate agents and flight crew members are easy to recognize by simply handing one to them and telling them you appreciate them for what they do.

@Allen913 wrote: Well I signed up and just was told I made my qualifying reservation 6 days before signing up for the promotion so no A-status for me. Thats life but will probably fly other airlines more often now as assigned seats are little less cumbersome during travel.than paying money to upgrade positions in line. Well Allen, the rules are pretty clear, you must sign up for the deal AND THEN book any fly between two dates. If you are still between the dates, you could still book and fly -- as long as that is within the calendar period. If not, sorry that you missed out on A-List. Maybe you'll be offered another deal in the future. Just be sure you understand the deal.

@LindseyD wrote: @chgoflyer, what you've said is correct. If the reservation straddles two years, the flights will be applied to the years to which they correspond. If they are on the same reservation, the TQP from the outbound flight will be retroactively applied after the return flight is completed. Hey, Lindsey! Thanks for the info. But... that's actually not what I'm saying. I'm saying the opposite. 😉 For many years, people have used a "hack" to move points into the upcoming year, vs earning them in the current one. (A primary reason would be if you wanted TQPs or CPQPs in the new year vs the current one, for example.) This involved booking a round trip with an outbound in the current year and the return in the following one. Southwest's system grants points upon the completion of the full itinerary, and (previously at least) those points from both flights would then be earned in, and apply to, the new year. I haven't actually used this "hack" myself for several years, but discussion about it other places on the web indicate people still do, and that the belief is that it still works. It sounds like you're saying that this is no longer the case? And now, in this scenario, the points will count for qualification in the year the flight was taken? Or, are you talking about qualification via flight segments, not points? (You mentioned "TQP" which leads me to believe you mean points.)

@jajosaee wrote: Hi, Do flights booked using Travel Funds from an unused or cancelled reservation, or a Southwest LUV Voucher, count towards A-List Qualifying Flights? Travel funds definitely yes, I believe LUV would also count the same as cash flights since you can book them together as a combined mode of payment....so yes.

Thanks for that info because as I am reading this 2016 thread my thoughts are two things: 1) I have done mobile boarding passes for multiple passengers before (honestly less that 2 months ago) and it worked fine so why not now 2) It is literally now 2018 two years after this issue was first presented and Southwest has obviously not made much effort to correct this. Multiple passenger mobile boarding passes are not a “exception” they are a huge inconvenience and massive limitation on sw’s part when other airlines have no problem. I love Southwest and fly with them for multiple reasons but this is enough of an inconvenience for myself and my spouse that it makes us want to reconsider! The benefits to sw are largely in part to their baggage policies and service reputation that makes them very popular but truthfully we do not need that as we rarely if ever have to check bags plus this issue and the way it has been handled kind of throws the latter benefit right out the window. Please Southwest keep the business and fix this issue.

Southwest Airlines does not tolerate discrimination. Please contact our Customer Relations Department so a Representative can speak with you about the situation you experienced and gather more information. It is our sincere desire to address your concerns. This Community is a Customer-to-Customer discussion forum, however, and is not one of the places we are able to address individual Customer Service issues.

Safety is an important point when traveling outside the home. If you have kids with you, you must care for his safety. The baby stroller and baby car seats should have to be taken with you. A few months ago, I took the safest baby car seat during my traveling period with my 3-year-old baby. Have a good journey, Thank you.

@Fransoc,
Thanks for coming to the Community and posting about your experience. I think you got some really good insight and information from other Community Members about how to get your best shot at an early boarding position. We want you to enjoy traveling with us, and I hope there will be another opportunity for that in the future. It was not appropriate for our Representative to respond to your questions with sarcasm, and I'm really sorry that happened. It's reasonable that you would be left with a bad taste in your mouth, but I can assure you we appreciate your business and the expectation we have for ourselves is that we are serving our Customers with friendliness and warmth.
I'm closing the comments on this thread as the conversation has started to veer a little off course.

@DancingDavidE wrote: Here's the regulation: https://www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Advisory_Circular/AC%20120-87B.pdf Number 19 seems to indicate that you could put one in a middle seat if only one child was using the car seat. It's still not explicit that you could or couldn't have two side-by-side as long as the adult was in the aisle. My take on it would be allowed as long as the adult can reach the window seat to undo the belts in an emergency. All of that said - maybe this would be an option going forward instead of using two car seats: https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Family-Travel/CARES-harnesses/m-p/75683

Also the Southwest App does not allow multiple profiles on their app so I have to enter my wife’s name, birthday, RR number and KTN after I make a reservation for us using the app. It’s very frustrating and behind the other (UAL, Delta) apps. when I complained they didn’t understand me and said everyone has to have their own RR account. 😂 on my United app, I can create multiple profiles (with separate frequent flier and known traveler numbers) within the app, then when I make a reservation, I just pick the person or people who are coming on the trip. 90% of the time my wife and I fly together, do they really expect both of us to individually use the app to make an individual reservation when we fly together? That is double work and we would have different confirmation numbers. so I agree with your plea for Southwest to update their app. They are already the best airline, they should have an app that is on par with their flights.

This is certainly not the experience we want our Customers to have when they travel with us. While we aren't able to field individual Customer Service issues here on the Community, we'd love to have reach out to our Customer Relations Department so a Representative can learn a little more about the situation. You can reach CR on Twitter (@Southwestair) or by calling 1-855-234-4654.
