I agree with @chgoflyer Board at the A group if your ok with saving a seat and your wife can board during family boarding. You should have no problem getting seats together. Blake

@RASRobin Glad things went as planned! When you say Superstar Shuttle are you refering to Super Shuttle (blue van)? If so they are not the best in Orlando from my personal experience espically at night and overnight. If not supershuttle would be interested to know more about superstar shuttle as I haven't heard of that. Blake

@kstokes I'm sorry to hear your flight was cancelled yesterday. While cancelled flights are never fun they do happen and they happen on all airlines just like delays. There are many reasons the cancellation might come last minute such as weather, a maintenance issue that would cause a crew time out if it was fixed (some issues take longer to fix than others), or a delay earlier in the day that could cause a crew time out just to name a few possibilities of why you were cancelled. If you would like to discuss this experience with Southwest I would recommend you reach out to customer relations at 855-234-4654 or you can click on the contact us link at the bottom of this page where you can send a message and someone from Southwest will respond as soon as possible. @jwow One reason I think you may be seeing less non stops to where you want to go is because with Chicago being a HUB of Southwest they want to offer non stops to as many different destinations as possible and to do so they would have to cut back on other non stops as there are only so many planes. The best thing to do is send Southwest a message on Twitter and tell them which routes you would like more non stops on or what time frame you think would be a good for a flight from X-Y so they can pass it on to the right team. Hope the future schedules work out better for you! Blake

If your bags arrive before you they will end up at the baggage service office at baggage claim. You just walk in show them your checked bag receipt and show your ID and you should be good to go. With preventing the possible cancelled flight I dont think there is a way to prevent it. I think it should be fine though since you aren't booking 2 flight at the same time like las to oak at 3pm and las to mco at 3pm (as an example) thats usually where the system cathes on but not too certain on that. @aperry Sorry I misunderstood that. So with that I dont think you can check a bag to just LAS when your one way is booked to OAK. With the bag beating you if you missed your connection I'm guessing it would because they wouldn't want to dig for your bag because you missed your flight but it could be taken off. I'm not too sure on that though. Another note they would consider you a no show on that 2nd flight so you may or may not be able to get the RR points or A List credit if you care about either of those. Also the system might see the 2nd flight from LAS to OAK and call it a duplicate booking and could cancel it. Blake

@aperry If your flights are booked seperatly the bags would usually have to be picked up at baggage claim and re checked. When you check in you could ask the agent if they are able to check it all the way but usually with one way flights you would have to go out of security and re check. Hope this helps! Blake

@mybabybluegirl I'm sorry to hear your flight out of LAX was delayed and there was no communication. My guess it your flight to SDF from Dallas was late because they were waiting on other passengers off a late flight like yours so they actually did you a favor so you didn't get stuck sleeping in DAL airport. It looks like you only got to Louisville 25min late which in the world of air travel isn't bad at all The walk from gate 3 to 20 is long but if you needed assistance they have carts that can take you down there. If you would like to discuss the experience with southwest feel free to reach out by the methods mentioned above or you can call customer relations at 855-234-4654 I hope your next flight goes smoother than this one! @Goober06 I'm sorry to hear you were left and not taken care of with boarding the plane during pre boarding on your recent flight. As I was not there I'm not sure why no one got you when boarding started. I'm also sorry that when you brought the issue up to the ops agent she didn't even appoligize. I would highly recommend you reach out to customer relations at 855-234-4654 to discuss that way they can look in to this issue and figure out where they fell short. Hope this helps! Blake

@Goober06 Sorry to hear your son left his phone on the plane. Its never fun to be without something of that importance for an extended period of time. At this point filling out the lost and found form is the best way to get your item back. Most items that are found in cleaning are sent to the central lost and found so it will take time to process as they get a lot of items and have to go though a bunch of reports to get it back to you. Did you try to call the baggage office in PHL? If not I would try that in case it was turned in and maybe it can be caught before going to central lost and found. Hope your son gets his phone back! @shroyd I'm sorry to hear your flight was cancelled and that you were not informed of the cancellation. Usually you should get an email (be sure to check the spam box). While the weather in San Diego and Las Vegas may be fine there has been some rough weather in other parts of the country which your flight could have been coming from and that could have lead to your cancelled flight. If you would like to discuss your experience with Southwest directly I would recommend reaching out to customer relations at 855-234-4654 or you can click on on the contact us link at the bottom of the page and you can send a message that way and someone will respond to you as soon as possible. Hope you made it to Vegas without any other delays! Blake

@Ashreesyd01 So glad to hear your flight attendant was nice when dealing with a passenger who wouldn't get off the phone before take off. If you would like to share your kudos to the airline i recommend clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of this page where you can send a message and provide your compliment and they can pass on your kudos to that FA and her supervisors. You can also send Southwest a DM on Facebook or Twitter where they can pass on the kudos as well. Thanks for sharing in the community! Blake

@cruiseaddict If your flight is cancelled and your at the airport you can see a customer service agent at the airport. You can also call reservations at 800-435-9792 with the current weather it could be a long hold just be patient. You might be able to reach out to Southwest on Twitter in a DM and they might be able to help but that will take time as they get a lot of messages. Hope your flight goes as planned without a cancellation! Blake

@Mhops There are a lot if factors an airline looks at before proactively canceling flights. Just as much as they don't want you stuck in a bad weather situation they dont want there employees stuck or planes for that matter. Better for an airline to be safe than sorry. One reason they might have cancelled your flight is the next flight from your arrival city may not leave before the storm starts and they want to pull all planes from that airport ahead of time. Cancelled flights are no fun and weather has been rough lately. Just stay patient and they will have you on your way just as soon as its safe to go. Hope this helps! Blake

@jihkim1210 Sorry to hear about your dammaged luggage. Yes you would need to go back to the airport because you would need to have a claim filed and that must be done within 4 hours of your flight arrival or the airline would not be liable. They want to see the dammaged with there own eyes (some try to cheat the system). Hope this helps! Blake

@emmi If You pre board thete would be no need for you to buy Early Bird as you would board before everyone else. If you choose to do family boarding you could buy EB but there is no gurantee that you will get an A boarding pass so if you get B then you would have spent the money uselessly as Family Boarding is after the A group but before the B group. If you have anyone who is not pre boarding and not using Family Boarding then yes you could buy EB for them (or they could buy it) and get the actual product that was paid for. Also Early Bird check in doesnt come with a special security or check in line only those with Business Select tickets or A List status get expidited security and check in lines. Hope this helps Blake

@CVF I'm sorry your having trouble seeing your recent account activity. From what I have been seeing here in the community your not the only one with the issue. It's good to know the airline is aware of the issue and that they are working on it. at this time the best thing to do is be patient and hopefully they will have the issue fixed soon. If you have a question about your recent activity i'm sure you could reach out to Southwest and they might be able to view the activity and tell you More about what you would like to know. You can reach out by calling reservations 800-435-9792 or customer relations at 855-234-4654. Hope this helps! Blake

As @dfwskier there is not a way to add a person to a ticket already booked you can book your daughter separately and the airline can note that you all are traveling together if you call them. Southwest is not selling flights to Hawaii just yet so I assume your flight to Hawaii is on another airline and I'm guessing they can't add a person to a ticket already purchased but I would recommend calling that airline to check for sure. Hope this helps! Blake

You could book it that way all on one reservation the airline calls it Point to Point it is risky yes although I have done it several times without issues. I usually give myself 2 hours or longer when I do point to point . To book this online you would search the one way flight then when looking at the flight options at the top of the page you will see a modify button click that and you can click multi city thats where you would enter the Tulsa segment .*make sure you enter the correct date. Another note when booking a flight like this you may need to re check bags (if your checking bags) I have never had to when my layover is under 4 hours If you have any other questions about point to point let me know and I can help! @RASRobin I would recommend FlightAware all you do is enter swa (for Southwest) then the flight number and you can click where is my plane coming from and you can see where it starts the day leading up to your flight. Some also use FlightView and a couple others that i can't think of off the top of my head. Hope this helps! Blake

@aimeec I'm sorry your disappointed with the LUV voucher and how it can be used. LUV vouchers are valid for revenue flight purchases only and it will not cover taxes. You are not able to buy points with the voucher or use it to take some of the cost off a points ticket. If you got the voucher by email you could see the terms of the voucher on that email which might help you understand the voucher more Hope this helps Blake

@Audria1913 First off I'm sorry your son isn't doing well. With A List Standby it starts in the AM on your day of departure so you could standby on a 5am flight but not a 10pm flight the day before. I also find very few 10pm flights on Southwest unless its a quick flight like HOU-AUS as southwest doesnt have any overnight flights. You might be able to go to the airport and see if they can help with getting you out tonight with no fee but there is no gurantee. Hope your son feels better and that you can get to him quickly! When I checked in at the kiosk last week it did have an upgrade button next to the A position I didn't try it because I didnt want to pay extra to go from A29 to A1-15 of course my guess would be that upgrade is for the upgrade to Business Select so I'm guessing you would have to interact with a human as stated to get the A1-15 pass. @Bigmike40 I'm sorry your flight was rerouted due to weather. Delays are no fun but they happen. Being that it was a weather related delay the airline usually wont offer compensation. If you would like to discuss this with the Southwest you can reach out to customer relations by calling 855-234-4654 or you can click on the contact us link at the bottom of the page and someone will respind as soon as they can. In reguards to why they didn't buy you food the crew is not going to go out of pocket for food for just you because otherwise they would have to buy food for everyone and if they did go and get food for everyone it would delay the flight even more which they don't want to do. If you offered to pay for your food then others would want to do the same and that would again take even more time. Hope this helps! Blake

@DfDrPepper_23 wrote: @askmom3 I am sorry to hear about your experience, I thought of the prices that goes up and down and I had something in my mind about something has to do with the stock market. Don't get me all wrong, but, if I suppose the seats has increasing becoming available and the SWA might wants to decrease the "Wanna get away" price down. I don't know how the systems work and I firmly believe that price change has something to do with the stock market. While I know all we can do is guess what causes an airline ticket price to decrease and increase I don't think the pricing has anything to do with the stock market because it's closed on the weekends and holidays as well as after 5pm weekdays and ticket prices change when the market is closed. There are some other reasons I don't think the stock market has to do with it but I won't get in to that since I'm not an expert on that. I think its all supply and demand with some other factors. I do think it would be cool to see how that system is run.

@J295 Unfortunately there is not an option to do like a cheapest flight on x date from x city (I wish there was for doing my crazy routes) i know it may be time consuming but I just click on each city so x-a x-b x-c all the way through the southwest list of cities. I usually start with searches to hubs or popular places (HOU MCO DAL LAX LAS SAN) just to name a few cities I find cheap last minute. This would depend on where you are departing from as some cities don't have great last minute prices like TPA. I usually start with ones I know are cheap now like HOU-MCO or LAX-HOU or AUS-DEN (as a few examples). If your able to tell me which city you would want to fly out of I could look and see what has good-ok deals for a week or less out. Hope this helps Blake
