Yeah that doesn’t sound right. She should be able to get her own. The only reason I could think that might throw that off is if she is an authorized user on your card??? Either way, I think it is worth a call to Chase to clarify. Let us know what you find out, pls.

Here is what SW's site says: Snow ski equipment, including skis or snowboards, ski boots, and ski poles: including one pair of skis or one snowboard, one set of poles, and one pair of ski/snowboard boots encased in a container(s) acceptable to Carrier. When substituting ski equipment for a free bag, Southwest Airlines allows up to two bags (containing one set of snow skis, ski poles, and ski boots) to count as one item, even if they are packed and tagged separately. Note: Snow ski equipment will not be subject to excess size charges. However, excess weight charges may apply.

There is still no definitive answer for this. The government shutdown delayed the regulatory process, but you can read here that SW has completed its first test flight to Hawaii. It is very likely that we will see an announcement for when the flights will launch very soon, but that is just my opinion. Keep in mind that another possible shutdown could further delay the approval process. Feel free to Google Southwest Air Hawaii to read all the press coverage and speculation. You can also find SW's official Hawaii page here.

You may use the Companion Pass when it is earned through Dec 31 of the year it expires. This could land a few different ways. If you get the current Rapid Rewards Chase promo, that comes with CP through the end of this year -- 2019. You must travel by that time, so no, you would not be able to book for travel next year. If you earn the CP the normal way, you get it from when you qualify through the end of the next calendar year and can use the pass at any point during that time. The short answer is that it has to be used by the expiration date that appears on the Companion Pass. Hope that helps!

Given that this is a customer community forum, I am not sure you will get an answer here. When you left SW, I imagine you received resources and info about how to retrieve historical data and to communicate with the company. I recommend going that route. Good luck!

LOL...every time a book a flight that early, I think "what was I thinking" when the alarms goes off that morphs into "this is awesome" when I get to my destination which morphs into "I need a nap, pls...thx" by mid afternoon. 🙂

I totally get your frustration as I live this life every day! I have learned how to make the most of the system, and when I balance the benefits SW offers for our family, it is worth the trouble. As has already been said, please share your thoughts directly with SW. Ironically, while the technical part may be troublesome, Southwest truly is great for families!

That makes my skin crawl! It is so gross, and you can smell it when someone close to you is dipping. I always recommend that you tell the flight attendant. Never assume they are aware. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard flight attendants say, "I wish you had told me; I would have done something about that."

I totally understand your frustration; I've been in a similar boat with other routes that I frequently traveled. Unfortunately, as demand and interests change, airline routes change. If you feel strongly about getting your feedback direclty to SW, I would reach out on Twitter or via Contact Us. I hope you find a good alternative for your travels there!

I am afraid this could happen on any airline. Chicago and Minneapolis are both on SW's travel advisory for Winter Storm Jayden from 1/27 - 2/1, and it is a very real and significant weather event. Good luck!

Whew...where to start!? First of all, all you asked about is a deeply personal decision, and this has been discussed extensively here and here. SW's offical page for traveling with babies is here. For my family, we always did the lap child thing until our first turned two. This saved us money/points, and when they are tiny, we found the baby did best being held anyway. With that said, as she got closer to two, we found the extra seat to be helpful, and there is a chance you may have an empty seat on the row where you and your oldest are sitting. Of course, you will have to have a seat for your four year old; note that a CARES harness is recommended for children older than one two weigh between 22 and 44 pounds. As far as seats for the go, we ALWAYS check the car seat. Again...personal decision, but that is what works for us. It is less to carry on the plane and through the airport. We always check the car seat(s) and all the luggage and then bring the stroller with us and gate check it. My wife would always wear our infant in a wrap, and with pre-check, she never had to take the baby off. Hope all this helps! I am sure you will get more thoughts as lots of folks on here travel extensively with their kids. My advice is not to stress, and enjoy the ride. Be sure you let the flight attendants know if its the kids' first flight! Good luck!

Southwest is my airline of choice for so many reasons -- for both work and for personal travel. I could talk about this forever, but I will keep it short and say that unless you will be flying frequently with a strong preference for first class upgrades, SW is a phenomenal choice. There is so much to be said for SW's customer-friendly policies! Specifically answering your question, you can always add EBCI after the fact, and you can pay for it using any credit card. You can add EBCI from your SW RR profile's list of trips online or by calling SW. Just remember to do it OUTSIDE your work booking tool. And I would feel confident that EBCI will get you a window seat pretty much all the time unless there are some weird circumstances like a ton of thru passengers from the previous flight.

For the most part, to earn RR points for hotel stays, you need to book the hotel through southwesthotels.com using your RR #. Keep in mind that most hotels will not honor elite benefits when booking through a third party site such as this. Marriott is a noteable exception because you can earn RR as part of Mariott's reward program; more about that here. With that said, no matter what, you will earn the credit card points for the stay since you paid for the hotel with your RR Chase card. They would not have to have your RR number for those points to post!

From what I know of Denver, you will connect in the same concourse, and your bags will be checked thru to your final desitnation. If the flights are on time, that should be sufficient to connect, but for me personally, that would be tight. Especially since there are prob frequent flights to Belize City. You also have to consider the possibility of bad weather in Denver in Feb. Note that you should be able to walk from one end of the SW concourse to the other in around 5 mins. This is a decision about risk tolerance that you have to make. Here's to hoping that the 50 mins works just fine!

As has been stated, the currently offer for CP thru 2019 with credit card spend is for 2019 only. It is my assumption that the bonus points that also come with that offer count toward your qualifaction for CP in 2020 (next year). You would have to combine that with other quailifying points to get to 110K. As far as the magic time to get it for two years, this article might help.

If you are paying Concur directly, you should receive the reciept directly from them. I wonder if it is worth calling your Concur administrator?
