Try disabling any pop-up blockers in the settings of Safari, Chrome or Edge (whichever one your phone uses to connect to southwest wifi. Additionally my phone had Guardio - a pop-up blocker/unsafe website utility on it. I couldn't access the wifi on Southwest.  Then on Alaska airlines a few days later I continued to have the exact same issue.   Here it is again!  I just installed a new WiFi network at home - I tried to select it to connect to it - and here is SouthwestWifi jumping up to take the password from the WiFi I’m trying to connect to (I never tapped on to connect to SouthwestWifi - SouthwestWifi is not even an option of a network to connect to from Wi-Fi’s available - it simply buts in and steals password entry.  ... For several years I had send my Android tablet to watch movies. But just recently I couldn’t watch them. Error message said I needed to upgrade the operating system. I checked and I had already upgraded. Then on the next flight I STILL could not watch movies. I have a flight in 3 weeks and wonder if I should bring my laptop (too heavy) or invest in a new non-Android tablet.  ... View more

Still having the same problem. Clearing browser cache did not resolve.    I'm on a new Macbook. Purchased Internet, used internet (which was awesome flying to Hawaii) but now I want to get back to the movies. Have tried southwestwifi.com and getconnected.southwestwifi.com but they just direct me to https://www.southwest.com/inflight-entertainment-portal/   I've disconnected from the wifi network, turned off wifi and back on.
