Can anyone tell me what apps are blocked when using the SW WiFi on a flight? Is it possible to stream from Hulu or the ESPN App? I know ESPN is one of the channels on the Free In-Flight Entertainment, but the ESPN app has more content. I'll be flying a total of 8 hours on a Saturday and am wondering what my options are for watching football? Is purchasing the WiFi worth it or a waste in this situation? If it is, then I am relegated to games on Fox, CBS, NBC and ESPN, correct? The reason I ask is the game I'd really like to see is on ABC and will start after the flight begins and likely be over or close to the end when we land in San Jose. Am I out of luck on that game? Lastly, what is the reliability of watching a game on one of the aforementioned Free channels? Has anyone flown on a Saturday or Sunday since this football season started that can share? The policy isn't the problem. What if the plane was changed to a 737-800? What if the plane had mechanical problems and they had to change the plane type? The problem is you don't want to fly on a MAX 8. That's your prerogative. Personally, if the MAX 8 is approved to be placed back in service, I'd have no problem with flying on one. But that's me. You have to decide what's best for you but plane changes can and will happen whether they are MAX 8 related or not.

DO NOT try to do this through the online chat feature at Hertz.com. I booked a car directly on hertz.com and then joined the Gold Club later. I wanted to have my reservation updated. I used the online chat and they said no problem. Told me I had a new reservation, but mentioned nothing about money. I got the confirmation and moved the email into my saved folder. A week later I looked at my credit card account and saw that they had refunded my original total and charged the new total which was $179 more. Note: I chose the Pay Now option to get a cheaper rate. I called Hertz and they opened a case. No one has contacted me at all, via phone or email. Two weeks later, I noticed they refunded the 2nd charge, but had not recharged my card for the original amount. So I called and they said my reservation was canceled and a new one issued (even though I can't see it online). They assured me the reservation existed and when I asked what the rate was it was $200+ higher than the 2nd reservation! It was changed to pay later. When I voiced my displeasure, they said the case was still in pending status so I should be patient. A month later and nothing has changed, other than I made another reservation through Costco as a backup that was about $50 higher than the original. The moral of the story is something that should be so simple can get screwed up. Call and verify everything, including your rate.

Elijah you are so correct! We made reservations to Maui in April. Coming from Birmingham, we had to book two separate flights - BHM - SJC and then SJC to OGG. Since that time, fares have reduced on BHM - SJC 3 times and SJC - OGG twice. We have now saved 26,772 points on those flights for my wife and I! We're hoping for one more Hawaii sale before we fly in late October!
