It's been awhile since southwest airlines introduced new non stop service from burbank. Is it possible southwest will add any new cities from burbank for summer 2024??
Honolulu would be nice.
It's too bad southwest is dropping burbank to San Francisco.

Im curious as to how southwest is doing with their mainland to Hawaii flights?? Over the past 2 years many of southwests Hawaii to mainland flights have been axed.
It would be nice to see non stop service from burbank,California to honolulu and Maui on southwest airlines.

From burbank,California to Chicago midway I notice from November 2022 to March 8th 2023 there are no non stops between burbank and mdw.
Last year I noticed the burbank to mdw flights disappear between November 2021 and April 2022.
Im surpised southwest doesn't have 2 daily non stops between burbank and mdw.

My last 4 flights on southwest in the past month have been either cancelled or delayed.
Last night from seattle to burbank was awfull!
My flight from seattle to Oakland was supposed to take off at 3.40pm and was delayed until 6pm.
I missed my connecting flight from Oakland to burbank.
I was put on a connecting flight from Oakland to burbank supposed to take off at 8.30pm. Instead my flight was delayed until 9pm and supposed to land in burbank at 10pm. When we landed in burbank at 10pm our plane was on the runaway for 1 hour.
The reason the plane was on the runaway was because our gate had a plane that had not taken off yet. I didn't walk off the plane in burbank until after 11pm.
Two weeks ago my 3pm flight from burbank to seattle was delayed 4 hours so southwest put me on a different flight. The new flight southwest put me on was a 1 stop 1 plane flight from burbank to seattle with a stop in Las Vegas. Unfortunately this flight got me to seattle at 2.50am instead pf 12 midnight
Should I email or call southwest airlines customer service about this??
Southwest airlines needs to get its act together!!

For 7 years and still currently I live in seattle. My parents live near burbank airport. When I fly to burbank to visit my parents I always have to change planes on oak,sjc or smf to get from sea to bur.
Alaska airlines does offer non-stop service from sea to bur. Alaska charges twice the price of southwests connecting flights from sea to bur.
I have always wondered why southwest never offered bur or lax non stop to sea??
The non-stop flights from sea to smf, oak and sjc are always full and southwest keeps adding more non stop seattle flights to these 3 cities.
Why does southwest not fly non stop from sea to Southern California??
Southwest flies non stop from sea to phx, las, oak, smf and sjc frequently.
Southwest also needs more

Will southwest ever add Hawaii to burbank non stop service?? Burbank airport currently has no non stop flights to Hawaii.
Also I have noticed southwest cutting Hawaii service from Maui to Sacramento and Maui to sa Diego.
Is this temporary??
When southwest gets more 737 Max's will they increase thier Hawaii to mainland USA service??
How is southwests load factor on mainland usa to the hawaiin Islands?? Is is possible southwest airlines will pull out of Hawaii all together??

Like for example today the 3.50pm flight from burbank,California to Oakland left at 5.50pm instead of 3.50pm. The burbank to Oakland flight landed in Oakland at 6.50pm
The connecting flight in Oakland going to seattle took off at 6.20pm.
What would southwest do if you got to Oakland and missed the connection to seattle because your 1st flight was delayed??

I fly once a month between burbank,California and seattle. On the late afternoon/ early evening flights from burbank to seattle im noticing most of the flights get to Oakland, San jose or Sacramento too late to make the connection to seattle. The reason the flights arrive too late for the connection is because they are delayed 2 hours.
So my question is what happens if I get on a flight from burbank to Oakland, San jose or Sacramento and due to the 1st flight delay I miss my connection to seattle??
And then the next flight from Sacramento, San jose or Oakland to seattle isn't until 6am or 8am the next day.
Would southwest force me to camp out at the airport overnight??

From seattle to Oakland non stop there used to be 9 or 10 non stops per day and 5 non stops from Sacramento and San jose,California to and from seattle. With southwests covid schedule there are now only 2 non stops from seattle to Oakland per day. That's a huge cut. For my parents who live near burbank,California airport there are only 2 flights between burbank and Oakland and 2 flights per day between Las Vegas and burbank. There used to be 8 to 10 non stop flights per day between burbank and Oakland as well as 8 non stop flights between burbank and Las Vegas. My question is does southwest plan on going back to their precovid schedule or is this permanent?? Many of the legacy carriers didn't cut their flights as much as southwest has. Where will southwest get the planes from to go back to their pre covid schedule?? It seems that southwest is using many of their unused planes to fly to new cities.

Currently onbaord southwest airlines flights they are only serving a cup of water and snack mix due to covid. When will southwest start serving sodas onboard the flight again?? Alaska air even during the pandemic still serves cans of soda with a cup of ice.

After the pandemic started in March 2020 I had to switch from using southwest airlines to fly from seattle to burbank,California to Alaska air. Since July 2015 I had been flying southwest airlines from seattle to burbank,California. Since the pandemic started southwest cut their flight schedules from seattle to burbank big time. Before the pandemic it used to be from seatle to burbank took 4 to 4.5 hours with a connection in Oakland, sjc or smf. With southwests new pandemic schedule Mos flights from seattle to burbank,California take 7 or 8 hours with connections in places like Denver which doesn't make sense. For almost the past year I have been flying Alaska air non stop from seattle to burbank. Unfortunately I have alot of southwest airlines credit that expires at the end of 2021 that I want to use before it expires.

For the past 5 years I have been flying from seattle to burbank,California on southwest with a connection in the bay area or Sacramento,California. I moved to seattle 5 years ago from southern California. As soon as the pandemic started in April 2020 I have unfortunately had to switch to alaska airlines to fly from seattle to burbank. Southwest is much cheaper than Alaska airlines by a long shot. Before covid I used to fly from seattle to burbank in 4 hour and 4.5 hours including the connection. With covid Southwest changed their schedules where the flight from seattle to burbank takes 8 or 9 hours with long layovers in places like Denver and Phoenix. I hope southwest brings back their pre covid schedule otherwise im stuck with overpriced alaska airlines. Alaska air for many many years charges $300 oneway for advanced purchase from seattle to burbank non stop plus $30 oneway for each piece of checked luggage. Southwest advanced purchase for seattle to burbank including 2 pieces of checked luggage is $75 oneway including taxes. Please southwest bring back you seattle to burbank flights with a connection in oak,sjc or smf. It doesn't make sense for southwest to offer flights from seattle to burbank with connections in Denver and Phoenix with a 5 hour layover.

After reading that southwest dropped newark and reduced service out of Boston im worried about Seattle. I have lived in Seattle for almost 5 years. Every 6 weeks i fly from Seattle to Burbank,California and take either one stop or connecting flights. The only airline i fly is southwest airlines for many reasons. I dont care for alaska airlines prices, baggage fees or flight change fee policies. Since sea tac airport only has 4 southwest airlines gates and only 40 departures per day from sea tac im very worried that southwest could drop sea tac like they did newark or reduce service like southwest did in Boston. Im keeping my fingers crossed that southwest stays at sea tac airport. Southwest often charges $80 to $130 oneway with all taxes and fees for a ticket between seattle and burbank, california. Alaska air for a non stop flight between seattle and burbank charges $300 often at the lowest for a oneway ticket plus baggage fees. Im willing to take connecting flights or onestop flights from seattle to burbank just to fly southwest for thier policies and cheaper tickets. Also in curious why southwest pulled out of Paine field airport in everett, washington??
