I believe it is more about setting a policy and sticking to it. Each City hub seems to treat customers (military or other) as they see fit.

Southwest should set a policy and enforce it. Letting local gate agents decide does their company image damage.

Sacramento still refuses to let military board between A &B unless in Uniform. I will avoid southwest at all costs.
