Good Evening Everyone - I posted about a month and a half ago about my group cruise being cancelled and Southwest was trying not to give us a refund and only a gift card for the total amount. Well, I am one to share the outcome of countless emails, phone calls and letters. Southwest have agreed to give each passenger an individual E-gift card which does not expired. This resolution will allow them to make future traveling plans without me being the middle man. Despite some of the passengers (24 total) wanted their money, I explained this might be the best you will get and should take it. I agreed on Monday and today I received 24 E-gift cards for each passengers for the full amount. Thank you Southwest!

this was done and the response was change the date or receive 1 e-gift card for the total amount but how does that help each person that paid there fare? giving each individual a e-gift card makes more sense or a voucher.

I sent my request there and their options are travel within the next 120 days as a group or 1 e gift card for a group that normally do not travel together. Is that really a solution to the problem?? Not at all, even if they gave everyone a voucher would be more reasonable.

I am having the same issues, my group cruise was cancelled and SW want to offer the group a later travel date of 120 days or a e gift card for the amount but that's an inconvenience to the entire group that comes from different places and unable to travel together. I am currently waiting for a response to the escalation I made with a representative.

I totally agree and do group travel all the time however this is definite a unique situation which I hope they reconsider the policy. there are allot of people affected because of the Coronavirus at no fault of their own. Hopefully, someone will reconsider. thank you for your feedback
