If you're struggling to figure out how to meet your "spend" (which is the dollar amount to spend to get the promised points/miles within a time frame), then understand that Chase and most banks accept a credit card charge to Plastiq . . . which is an online payment site where you can use a credit card to pay your rent or mortgage or just about anything else where normally the landlord does not accept credit cards. You simply set up your Plastiq account (takes 5 minutes) and add your landlord's mailing address and contact detail for a "paper check" to be mailed to him. Easy as pie . . . plus if you go to any of the youtube coaching websites, they will provide you their referral link to save even more. As an example: If your rent is $1000 a month, and you pay it with a credit card through Plastiq, then in addition to the $1000 payment charged to your credit card will be their standard credit card fee of around 2% (which is what most stores have to pay). So the $1000 rent check would cost you $20 more to use your credit card. But if you sign up using a referral link to Plastiq, you can charge up to $500 on your card without having to pay the 2%. Therefore, you pay your rent of $1000 and it only costs you $1010 to finalize. Also, if you asking if it's worth paying 2% to pay bills through Plastiq, then look at the amount of bonus you will be receiving: 50,000 points is worth 500.00 in free department store and other store branded gift cards through Southwest . . . so if you paid $40 in fees to pay $2000 in charges . . . you're still very very ahead!
