Thank you so much for this! We had flights to Cancun booked for May 18 and 21 that were canceled, and we lost the $100 Early Bird ($25 each way for myself and my husband) that we had paid for those flights. I understand that's the agreement if WE cancel our plans, but Southwest canceled them because of the pandemic. We could not just rebook as requested because it took a huge amount of work to even get that trip scheduled. I filed a claim (actually three claims because we had booked the flights separately) and am still waiting to hear back. We could sure use that $100 as I'm not working much at all right now. I don't understand why, if everything else was refundable, the Early Bird wasn't also AUTOMATICALLY refundable? Southwest is such a user-friendly, wonderful airline. Please make this right, Southwest.
