Southwest Airlines Community

I think this was very generous of Southwest. However, the end date of September 7th is no longer fair since Covid is not only still with us but cases are increasing. I have rewards expiring December 2020 for travel I had booked late February/early March. Why can't those be extended to also expire September 2022 like everyone who had travel booked March 1 - September 7? I would hope Southwest would make this move as well. I know this is a challenging time for the airlines but it is for us faithful flyers as well. Trust me, I'd love to take a vacation and will do so as soon as possible and will do so on Southwest if you extend my rewards to expire September 2022. Everyone who had travel booked in 2020 and had to cancel should have their rewards extended to September 2022. It's the right thing to do. ... View more
