The national drug control authority (MHRA) today recommended not vaccinating against Covid those with a history of "significant" allergic reactions. The indication came after two of the hundreds of people who were administered the Pfizer / Biotech vaccine in the United Kingdom have had allergic reactions. The UK is the first country to have started public distribution yesterday, after the green light given in recent days by the same MHRA. According to the Daily Mail, the agency provided precautionary advice to all 50 NHS trusts now vaccinating the community that anyone who has a history of 'significant' allergic reactions should not receive the vaccine.  Both the unnamed healthcare workers, after receiving the vaccine, needed immediate treatment but are recovering. Despite the two allergy patients, the British Government is today continuing to vaccinate between 5,000 and 7,000 people per day with 800,000 Pfizer doses already in hospitals and millions more on the route. The two NHS staff experienced an anaphylactoid reaction to the vaccine, which is milder than anaphylaxis, and tends to involve a rash, shortness of breath, swelling of the face and tongue, or a drop in blood pressure, The Daily Mail says quoting NHS.     ...
